And yea Vanessa, I just saw Twilight like two days ago, ha-ha I never really had a change to watch it before. I'm pretty sure the second one, New Moon is coming soon, November 20th I believe. I can't wait! I'm really excited!
Another movie that is coming out is "The Stepfather" It’s a horror movie, and the original film was made in 1987. Now they have made a new version, and it is a remake of the thriller film of the same name with some changes to the original one. For example, in the original movie, the main character or the victim was a girl, and on the new version it’s a guy. I really want to watch this movie too because I love scary movies. Hopefully it’s not one of those pointless moves that make no sense at the end or have a dumb ending, like that movie called "The Unborn"

Did you ever go watch the Stepfather? Was it a good movie? I watched the original. I thought it was a good concept but on the cheesy side. It was made in 1987 though, so the special effects were not very good. The stepfather looked really intense in the commercials. Did the actor fulfill the role? Were the special effects better than the original? Was the plot the same? Would you recommend this movie to others?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I watched it about two weeks ago. I thought it was not that great like it seemed on the trailer. It was very suspenseful and intense throughout the movie, but the end was totally pointless and dull and it ended how the story stared. The special effects were pretty good actually, I don’t know if I would say that they were better than the first movie because I haven’t seen it, but they were very realistic and believable and the plot is slightly different than the first one. And yes, I would say the actor fulfill the role because I found that there was something about him that was very creepy and mysterious about the actor (Dylan Walsh). If people would want to watch an actual scary movie I guess I wouldn’t recommend this movie just because it’s not that scary, and like I said, the end was very dull and uninteresting.
ReplyDeleteThe other day, me and my girlfriend went to go see the Stepfather. Not only did we enjoy the movie but actually got scared! I feel this move was very well done. The main character in the movie, the stepfather (Dylan Walsh) played a very different character than i had ever thought to see before. I had only seen him randomly scrolling through the tv in the series Nip Tuck. The movie was good because it kept the viewers attention and didn't bore for a second with lots of suspense. All together had a good plot that kept me entertained. If you want to be scared, you should definitely go see this movie.
