A couple days ago I decided to take a break from studying to go see a movie. Initially, I wanted to see Paranormal Activity but decided that I'd rather watch a not-so-scary movie. So after contemplating a couple different movies, my boyfriend and I decided to go see Where The Wild Things Are, in Imax. I had read this book when I was a child and remembered liking it, but going into the movie I couldn't remember the story line. It's about a young boy named Max who tries to get noticed by his older sister and his mother but feels like he's a total outcast in the family. So after getting into a little bit of a fight with his mother he decides to run away. After a night of running through forests, sailing across a sea and exploring an island he comes across "the wild things". Max becomes their new king after convincing them not to eat him but that didn't last real long. After many adventures on the island they find out he's not actually a king and this makes Max feel like he doesn't belong there either. Fortunately, there's a happy ending to Max's story, but you'll have to see it for yourself. In the end, it was a different but good movie in my opinion and if you liked the story book, I'm sure you'll like the movie.

I don't know about the rest of you but I always have to have the music blasting while driving in the car. When ever I'm not listening to a CD, I'm generally flipping through the radio stations trying to find one that isn't playing a commercial at that time. I can't stand listening to those pathetic Euro Tabs commercials or anything of the sort, so for that reason I love to listen to the new Hot 107.1. It's a new radio station that is currently playing 10,000 songs in a row without any commercials. Until now, my favorite radio station was The Bounce but now the Hot 107 plays the same kind of music. Another bonus of listening to the new radio station is that it refuses to play any Nickelback (I'm not a fan of them). So, if you also like listening to good music without having to put up with any annoying commercials, you should definitely turn your radio to the new Hot 107.1 right now!

Last night, after a full night of studying, I decided to just kick back and watch some drama unfold on The Hills. The Hills is a reality show that follows the personal lives of several young people living in Los Angeles. The main characters are Kristin Cavallari, Audrina Patridge and Heidi Pratt. They are also joined by Spencer Pratt, Lo Bosworth, Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Justin Bobby and many more. In almost every show there is either a cat-fight, a break-up, a bar fight or just some L.A drama in general. I like this show because I feel that I can relate to some of the experiences the cast goes through on a day to day basis. I prefer shows that I can relate to, unlike shows like the Vampire Diaries since I will never come across a vampire. Every one in their life time will come across or hear about a guy like Justin Bobby, who is out there to just have a good time and doesn't care about breaking girls hearts in the meantime. Or a girl like Kristin Cavallari, who is not liked by many girls since she clearly speaks her mind and does what ever she wants. Plus, who wouldn't want to watch such a good looking cast every Tuesday night?

I never realized that Andy Samberg was in the movie 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs'. I initially fell in love with him (not literally) in the movie 'Hot Rod' back in 2007. In my opinion, I thought he did a great job of making the movie funny. Since then, I've seen him in 'I Love You, Man' and 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist'. He was also the fantastic host of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. I have to say though, I love him most for his music. He has a comedy hip hop group called The Lonely Island, which also consists of Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer. Their most well known songs are called 'Like a Boss', 'Jizz In My Pants', 'Dick in a Box' and my favorite, 'I'm on a Boat'. Here is the link to the censored version of 'I'm on a Boat' featuring T-Pain:

I like 3D movies too!! He last ones I saw were 'Up" and "Ice Age 3" they are both on 3D, I really enjoyed them. They were both really funny! I really want to watch Toy Story in 3D now. Do you guys think it’s going to be a good movie?

And yea Vanessa, I just saw Twilight like two days ago, ha-ha I never really had a change to watch it before. I'm pretty sure the second one, New Moon is coming soon, November 20th I believe. I can't wait! I'm really excited!

Another movie that is coming out is "The Stepfather" It’s a horror movie, and the original film was made in 1987. Now they have made a new version, and it is a remake of the thriller film of the same name with some changes to the original one. For example, in the original movie, the main character or the victim was a girl, and on the new version it’s a guy. I really want to watch this movie too because I love scary movies. Hopefully it’s not one of those pointless moves that make no sense at the end or have a dumb ending, like that movie called "The Unborn"

Here are pictures of both movies:

Good Work!

Interesting! I'm always fascinated to hear about the books, movies, and music that people enjoy.
A new movie that is coming out soon is the Vampires Assistant. It was originally a book series that my cousin's, sister and I fell in love with. Our favourite character in the book was Mr. Crepsley. We were even more excited to see that John C. Reilly was playing the part of Mr. Crepsley. There are 12 books in the series that i would highly recommend reading. the books are: Cirque Du Freak,The Vampire's Assistant, Tunnels of Blood, Vampire Mountain, Trials of Death, The Vampire Prince, Hunters of the Dusk, Allies of the Night, Killers of the Dawn, The Lake of Souls,Lord of the Shadows, Sons of Destiny.
One other movie that i am excited to premier is the sequel to Twilight, called New Moon. Its an exciting tale of the life of a mortal, vampire, and werewolf with all there lives intertwined all together. My favorite character in this series is Emmet Cullen, he's a vampire. This movie series is also based on the book series twilight that consists of 4 books, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.

The other day my girlfriend and i wanted to see a movie. we were able to narrow it down to either Toy Story in 3D or Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs in imax 3D, because i love 3D movies. while looking up movie times i noticed Andy Samberg was in Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, although it turned out to be a minor role, so we saw that. to sum this movie up; it was AMAZING. this movie had non-stop laughs and constant action. the 3D wasn't over used, which worked well for the amount of action, making it exciting and you can still follow. the main character 'Flint' and his best friend/pet 'Steve', a monkey, are absolutely hilarious and are the main reason this movie is so enjoyable. i strongly recommend seeing this movie if you are looking to have a good time, laugh 'til your sides hurt, and leave the theater with a huge smile on you face and a deep longing to befriend a monkey like Steve.

That first site is alright I guess. And I'll go on the HMV website and take a look at it. But to be honest, I get most of my music from iTunes, not all of it but just certain songs that I can't find if I download in limewire. And not only you can download music on iTunes, but you can also find movies, TV shows, audiobooks, podcasts, and a lot of games to download into your iPod.

I don't know of any new albums coming out Vanessa. But I just bought the new Armin Van Buuren CD on iTunes! I don't know if you guys have ever heard of him, but hes one of the best DJs of all time! I have a link that you guys can go on to listen to his new album, it is called: Universal Religion Chapter 4. Check it out!
